The GRIT Method
At GRIT we believe that as barbell athletes, we should be able to rehab on the same equipment we train on and in most cases, our rehab should look a lot like our training. Whether you are here for rehab or want to carry all your groceries inside in one trip, you deserve a clinician with the understanding of the demands of the sport and activities you love. At GRIT you will get someone who has been where you are and will see you from initial injury to reintegration back into your training program or everyday life.

Not a barbell athlete? We look forward to teaching you the benefits of using strength training in your rehab

Not injured? (Thank goodness!!) We also provide comprehensive barbell training programs where you can learn the basics and progress your strength with a qualified clinician
Communication & Good Care
We can partner with your other health care or fitness team members to ensure a solid continuum of care that is aimed at your individual goals and needs. Our goal at GRIT is to remain a resource and trusted member of your team long after our initial work is completed
Education & Independence
At GRIT we believe you have more control over your body and your pain than you give yourself credit for. You deserve to have an understanding of how your body, your joints, your muscles, and all things in-between work. With this understanding, you can change the way you respond to minor or major injuries and facilitate healing as soon as you notice something is up

Improved mechanics, efficiency, and strength
Improving the way you move can increase your resilience in sport, leisure, and everyday life challenges, making you more anti-fragile, unbreakable, adaptable. Whether you are a barbell athlete or just training for life, the ability to feel, move, and perform well are critical
Movement is Medicine
It is important that all individuals have permission to continue to participate in the activities they love while rehabbing from an injury. Many times we do not seek care because we are afraid our doctors will tell us to stop lifting, running, swimming, etc..... and just rest. This fear helps turn simple acute issues into more complex chronic symptoms that take longer to get rid of. While we truly believe strength and movement are the secret medicine to most problems, sometimes we need someone's hands to show us the way. There is nothing wrong with a little TLC and one-on-one care.
